Preliminary document — pending legal review. It is published so the service can be commercialised during the initial phase; a lawyer-reviewed version will replace it before general availability.
The Weko service is provided by Weko (the "Provider"), with a professional address in Spain. General contact: [email protected]. Legal and data protection matters: [email protected].
Weko is a SaaS management platform for the hospitality sector: suppliers, recipe costing, invoices with OCR, sales/POS, inventory and waste, employees, time tracking, compliance (HACCP, allergens, Verifactu/AEAT), cash drawer and bank reconciliation. The service is offered via a responsive web application (mobile, tablet and desktop) and a mobile app.
Optionally, the user may connect their bank account through the authorised aggregator Enable Banking to automatically reconcile invoices. This connection is read-only (account information and transactions): Weko does not initiate payments and does not store banking credentials. Consent is granted on the user’s own bank website, lasts for the period set by the bank, and can be revoked at any time from Weko or from the bank. The user is responsible for having authorisation to connect the business accounts.
Access is contracted through a recurring paid subscription processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.; payment data is never stored on Weko’s servers. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date, which can be done from the panel without penalty. Any price change will be notified at least 30 days in advance.
Weko is a management tool: automatic reconciliation and calculations are provided as support, and the user is responsible for reviewing the results before presenting them to third parties or the Administration. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider’s aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, except in cases of wilful misconduct, gross negligence or damages that cannot be legally excluded.
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Barcelona, except where the user acts as a consumer, in which case the court of their domicile shall have jurisdiction. EU consumers may use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
